I wanted to start a blog because I find some incredible stuff, books, videos, other blog posts etc. online and wanted my own place to put them all. Also, it's my own spot to be as opinionated as I want!
I am currently reading The Violets of March by Sarah Jio http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/9724798-the-violets-of-march . I absolutely love this site to store all my favorite books and find the next one to read. I have gotten some great recommendations from other readers as well.
Music is such an important aspect of my daily life. I have favorite songs in almost every genre. Alternative Rock is my absolute favorite and I LOVE this station http://www.x1029.com/ - even have the app for it on my blackberry ;-)
