A friend/co-worker introduced me to one of the most incredible sites I have ever seen today, Pinterest. I spent a copious amount of time on this site today and I am in LOVE. Hairstyles, DYI, books, movies, crafts, everything you could ever imagine you can "pin" it to your page and save it forever! I can't tell you how large my bookmark folder is and this is my solution. I've told everyone I know that they HAVE to get started - you will not regret it - except if you get immediately addicted like me - could have lost my job today with the amount of time I spent "pinning" LOL Enjoy!!

Fall TV Premiers

Time for season premiers and brand spankin new shows!! Tonight, my favorite show The Big Bang Theory premiered and it definitely did not disappoint. SO funny. We got a PVR over the summer and I honestly don't know how I ever got by without it. I've been able to catch everything I've wanted to - I'm seriously tired from late nights of tv but it's been worth it! My favorite "new" show has most definitely got to be The New Girl with Zooey Deschanel. So cute and funny. As is Up All Night and 2 Broke Girls. I am anxiously awaiting the premier of Boardwalk Empire and Pan Am this weekend. THEN just in time for Halloween in October, Once Upon a Time premiers - it looks incredible! So much tv so little time :)

Blogging Summer Break

Where did the summer go!? It's so hard to believe that it's nearing the end of September already. School's been in for a few weeks and Thanksgiving and Halloween are just around the corner. This is by far my most cherished time of year. The beautiful fall colors, cool evenings, all things apples and BOOKS! Curled up on a cool night with the fireplace glowing, a great book and a warm drink just makes me grin from ear to ear.

I will be posting all the wonderful things that happened over our summer and all things going on now! Happy to be back, typing away ;-)

Stanley Cup Final Game #6

So, big night in our house tonight! Hubby is a HUGE Vancouver Canucks  fan and they're onto game #6 tonight - could possibly bring the Stanley Cup back to Canada - pretty flipping exciting. My Montreal Canadians were beat out by the stinking Boston Bruins so I REALLY hope they kick their asses tonight! What's even crazier is that my Dad has always been a Bruins fan so it's just a damn big event for the whole family haha
Throughout this playoffs the biggest laughs have come from the Green Men. Man oh man have they added some fun to hockey! They've been the topic of many heated debates this year but I just think they're hilarious and hope they keep coming back for more. The best was when Vancouver was playing Nashville and when Mike Fisher was in the box they held up a sign of Carrie Underwood in a Canucks jersey haha OR when they played Chicago and had a cut out of Vince Vaughn in a Canucks jersey after he taunted Canucks goalie Loungo one game. SO many laughs!! This pic is the most recent card board cut out they did of Ben Affleck.
